ADVENT WEEKEND 2024
Advent Weekend at the Dunoon is a unique event with very much a house party feel, celebrating the coming of the festive season, without ever pretending for one second that it really is Christmas just yet. We deck the halls, hang out the garlands, put up our tree, light the candles and the fire in the front lounge so that the hotel takes on its customary warm and welcoming winter glow. It is all very mellow and relaxed, and the hotel looks a treat.
Our chefs create wonderful seasonal Two AA Rosette menus, Colwyn Male Voice Choir delivers its lusty yet dulcet tones on Friday evening, while we look to our conjurer for his devilish sleight of hand over dinner on Saturday.
The idea is to create a sense of general conviviality, which sits somewhere between the relaxed and the jocular, with a couple of more or less setpiece entertainments to help the weekend along on its way.
Our Advent weekend will be held from Friday 29th November 2024. Prices from £332 per person. Please enquire for more details.
